3 ways you can use art in your bathroom

For a lot of people the bathroom is the last place you would think to put any artwork. But using art in the bathroom is a great way to inject some personality and create an unique design. So we have put together 3 ways you can make a statement in your bathroom with art.

1. Framed Prints and Postcards

Moisture is an issue to consider when thinking of adding artwork to the bathroom. However, this can be combated by using glass frames with your favourite prints or postcards for artwork.

The frames themselves can be used to create a feature with different colours, shapes and sizes.

A brilliant idea is using 3D artwork such as this paper ribcage. The glass jar not only stops it getting damp but also looks stylish and original.

2.Sculptures and Masks

Sculptures and masks are easier to maintain in the bathroom and easier to clean.

Sculptures are a brilliant way to create features on floor and worktop spaces. This beautiful cream elephant sculpture complements the black and white theme perfectly. And by having it in the shower space it is great use of the space.

Masks can be used either on their own or with prints to create a design. The floral design of this mask complements the floral print underneath with both combining to create a feature on the wall. The mask adds texture to the overall design.

3.Tiles and Prints

Tiles and prints can be used to create a feature and the wall is not the only space these can be used.

This extravagant bath tub is beautiful with its mosaic Swedish summer flower print. The detail in its design creates a stunning centre piece for the bathroom as well as a fabulous piece of art.

Wall prints can also create an artistic statement. The floral print in this wallpaper adds patterning to the wall. And by only using it above the basin it keeps with the simplistic black and white design and acts as a framing around the mirror.

So if you’re using artwork in your bathroom, why not let us know?
