BathEmpire Announced as National Business Awards Finalist

Today, Luxury for Less Ltd, trading as BathEmpire.com, has been shortlisted for the Small Online Business of the Year at this year’s National Business Awards in partnership with Orange. The leading online bathroom specialist is based in Coventry and supplies products to the public.

Going up against the likes of MadBid.com and Lovestruck Ltd they will battle it out for the prestigious award, with the winner being revealed at the National Business Awards gala dinner held on 13th November in London.

David Keene, Vice President Marketing at Salesforce and judge for the category said: “Luxury for Less is impressive for its great focus on profitability, its ‘school of life’ company culture, its 10 year guarantee and its brilliant use of social media – particularly video.”

Chris Li, founder and managing director of Luxury for Less Ltd, said: “To be a finalist in the National Business Awards is fantastic recognition of the tremendous growth that Luxury for Less has enjoyed since being founded in 2006, with turnover consistently doubling year-on-year to the point where we are on target to achieve a £14 million turnover this year.”

The National Business Awards has today revealed over 150 of Britain’s leading businesses and business leaders as finalists in the prestigious awards programme. Organisations shortlisted include a range of private, public and third sector companies, including National Grid, Marks and Spencer, and London Early Years Foundation.

All National Business Awards finalists represent an annual turnover in excess of £135 billion and collectively employ over 700,000. They cover activities as diverse as digital marketing, international road haulage and logistics, water engineering and life sciences: sectors that reflect key areas of UK capability with high potential for international expansion. The diverse size of the companies entering is also huge – ranging from a business with an annual turnover of less than £50k to high growth and high value companies with multi-billion pound revenues.
