Donna Jones Celebrates Four Years with BathEmpire

Donna Jones is taking stock in more ways than one – after notching up her fourth year with the company behind BathEmpire.com

As stock controller and the first employee to be recruited when we relocated to Coventry, Donna is a key member of our team.

In fact, she was the first office staff and only the fifth person to join the company which now has more than 60 employees.

Donna said: “I can’t believe it’s been four years!  It’s flown by and I think that’s probably because we’ve grown so quickly as a company in that time and because we’re always so busy on a day-to-day basis.”

Monitoring stock levels is just one of her important responsibilities along with forecasting product requirement and analysing sales and marketing data.

“My favourite memory so far is from the very early days when Chris Li, who founded the company, used to help out with answering the phones,” she recalled.

“Despite being the boss, Chris was always prepared to get stuck in whether it was responding to customer queries or packing orders.

“As a new recruit, that impressed me and that camaraderie continues to this day which is why it’s such a great place to work – and why I’m still here!”
