This is to maximise the life of the element, as the timer should prevent the element overheating; electric timers can be bought from all good DIY stores. This radiator must be filled with a mixture of water and a rust inhibitor containing anti-freeze if used as a stand-alone electric radiator and not connected to the central heating system

If you want to maintain a constant room temperature on a regular basis, then we recommend that you purchase one of our Thermostatic Electric Radiators. These will switch the radiator off or on, to maintain the desired temperature.

Chrome Plated Mirror Finish

Not all chrome is the same.

The Francis towel radiator has been coated in 60 microns of chrome. Allowing for a highly reflective, mirror finish.

How do you tell the difference between poor chrome and great chrome? Place your finger on the chrome. On poor chrome your finger print will leave a mark, on great chrome you will be able to rub your finger print off.

The 60 microns of chrome on the Francis towel radiator means it easily passes the finger print test.

Will I need anything else to fit this radiator?

The Francis towel radiator comes with everything needed to fit it to your bathroom wall.

Before you can plumb in the Francis towel radiator you will need to buy a set of valves.

We sell a full range of valves, specifically for use with the Francis towel radiator. You will need angled valves if the pipes come out from the wall, straight valves if the pipes come out from the floor.

I could not unfortunately using the order confirmation email find any way of linking with the courier to establish delivery details. Although the radiator arrived undamaged the cardboard covering was torn off on one side.

Excellent product, good price, prompt delivery! Dubious buying from the internet, normally prefer to buy from a shop and have some come back if any problems, but website looked safe enough. Ordered 2 vertical radiators, high BTU which was very important but nice contemporary style to suit our new kitchen/diner and good price. I paid bit extra for next day delivery and radiators turned up nice and early in the morning. No problems getting the radiators installed and they are now up and running, looking really great and feeling really warm. Perfect!! 10 out of 10 for product, price, and delivery.
