This sturdy, chrome plated thermostatic shower mixer valve is a central component of any concealed shower kit. The valve has been manufactured to TMV2 standard, which ensures that the manufacturing process stringently adheres to thermostatic safety guidelines. This valve is designed to prevent scalding, and by integrating it into your shower system, you can guarantee safety for all members of the family. What is more, the solid brass core protects against corrosion; for further peace of mind, the valve is covered by a 10 year warranty.

Will it work in my bathroom?

For this thermostatic valve to operate correctly, your water system will need to produce at least 0.2 Bar of pressure. This can be achieved if you have one of the following:

Combination boiler systems
Pumped hot water systems
Un-vented hot water systems
Standard pressurised hot water cylinder type systems

Why is it that when you get a spare 10 minutes to have a really relaxing shower someone decides that is the right time to fill the kitchen sink for the dishes? Transforming your luxurious warm shower into a game of 'how long can I endure the freezing water?'

Well, that horrendous experience will soon be a distant memory with this thermostatic shower.

Because this valve is thermostatic, the water will remain constant, at the temperature you set.

No More Drips

Because most showers drip when the rubber washers have started to wear out, we have taken the rubber washers out of our showers!

Instead, this valve features the latest in ceramic disc technology.

All that is required is a 1/4 turn of your shower control and the ceramic discs will close, forming an impenetrable seal. A 1/4 turn in the other direction and the water will be able to flow freely again.

Kenneth Fraser September 12The thermostatic shower control arrived extremely fast (recorded) and was very well packaged. There was a part broken when it arrived. I phoned and a spare part was dispatched/replaced very fast, recorded delivery no less, at no expense to myself. The service I was most impressed with. The shower instructions and diagram should be a lot more detailed, as it clearly does not state how to remove the two screws holding the dials on, but this is a manifactures problem. The shower must be fitted at the correct depth for tiles or wet wall, as there is not much flexablity in this if it is wrong. The overall service from BathEmpire was excellant. I would recommend them and the product.

David Ashworth April 12We needed a new shower mixer for our narrowboat, but as we didn't fit it ourselves we didn't know which one to get to replace it. We looked on the BathEmpire website, found a very similar one very easily at a reasonable price, so ordered it. The part arrived within 3 days, (you are able to track the orders). It was very well packaged, so not damaged in transit. Fitted it at the weekend, and we can now have a hot shower at the end of an arduous day cruising along the canal! I will certainly look on the BathEmpire website for all future bathroom requirements both afloat and on dry land.
