1 Way Mixer Valve:

Top dial: Top dial turns the water on and controls the flow of the water
Lower dial: Bottom dial allows you to set the water temperature from 20 - 50 deg C.

Will it work in my bathroom?

For this thermostatic shower mixer valve to operate correctly, your water system will need to produce at least 0.2 Bar of pressure. This can be achieved if you have one of the following:

Combination boiler systems
Pumped hot water systems
Un-vented hot water systems
Standard pressurised hot water cylinder type systems

Why is it that when you get a spare 10 minutes to have a really relaxing shower someone decides that is the right time to fill the kitchen sink for the dishes? Transforming your luxurious warm shower into a game of 'how long can I endure the freezing water?'

Because this shower mixer is thermostatic, the water will remain constant, at the temperature you set.

Should some pesky saboteur attempt to disrupt your sensational shower experience, the worst you will suffer is a drop in pressure.

No More Drips

Knowing the sound of dripping water can be used as a form of tourture came as no surprise to us. This teeth clenching sound should not be allowed to poison the tranquility of your bathroom.

Because most showers drip when the rubber washers have started to wear out, we have taken the rubber washers out of our showers!

Instead, this valve features the latest in ceramic disc technology.

All that is required is a 1/4 turn of your shower control and the ceramic discs will close, forming an impenetrable seal. A 1/4 turn in the other direction and the water will be able to flow freely again.

Dave Harper November 10A very good purchase, a quality product with a perfect chrome finish and at a great price, this is being fitted behind a false wall which is to be tiled, so I needed a valve with plenty of thread length to allow for the thickness of the wall plus the tiles, this is the perfect item for the job, smooth operating controls and the addition of the non scald system, simple to fit and operate, an excellent purchase.

Paul Derry September 11Recently installed two of these shower mixer valves, one in each bathroom. Overall we are very pleased with the quality and the appearance of the product. My only hesitation is that the units are mains fed and there has been a noticeable reduction in shower pressure compared to the units previously installed. The shower is less invigorating than it used to be. Would be interested if anyone can explain why the pressure has reduced and whether or not it can be rectified.

Item Victoria 1 way shower valve. Received next day as promised - looks and feels a quality product. Easily fitted and works a lot better than the much more expensive one I replaced....so just ordered another one for second bathroom.
